Internazionale were founded in 1908 by members of AC Milan who wanted to welcome foreign players, which is reflected in the club's name. Inter are the only Italian club never to have been relegated from Serie A. They have won three European Cups, including the 2010 treble under José Mourinho, and 20 Italian titles, earning the second star on their shirt with the 2023/24 Scudetto. Inter reached the Champions League final in 2023 and 2025. Former defender Cristian Chivu became head coach in 2025.
