Yann Aurel Bisseck was born in Cologne and became the youngest player to appear for 1. FC KΓΆln in the Bundesliga at 16. Opportunities were limited afterwards, and he developed through loans in Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands before joining AGF Aarhus in Denmark in 2021.
His performances in Denmark earned him a move to Inter in 2023. Tall and imposing at 1.96 m, he quickly became an important squad player and won Serie A in his first season.
Bisseck has been called up by Germany.
Playing style
Bisseck is a tall, powerful centre-back who is dominant in the air and strong in the tackle. He is also comfortable with the ball and has shown he can step into midfield or carry the ball forward, which suits Inter’s system. His path to the top was unusual: after early promise at KΓΆln, he developed in Denmark with Aarhus before earning his move to Inter. He has since become an important squad player, providing depth and physicality in defence.
International career
Bisseck has represented Germany at youth level, including the Under-21s, and has been called up to the senior squad.
Career in numbers
Bisseck’s senior club career, which began in 2017/18, has so far brought 192 appearances and 16 goals for 5 clubs. His best scoring return came in 2022/23: 5 goals in 35 appearances for AGF. His busiest campaign was 2024/25, with 46 appearances. So far in 2026/27 he has 1 goal in 5 appearances for Inter Milan. The full season-by-season record is in the Stats section of this profile.
