About SCN

Sport tells some of the best stories in the world. SCN is built to cover them properly.

We report on athletes, clubs, transfers, and tournaments. We cover what surrounds all of it too: jersey culture, fan movements, the music and identity that follow football from city to city. If it lives at the intersection of sport and culture, it belongs here.

Our coverage is international. We follow the talent wherever it goes, not just the competitions that already have the most cameras on them.

Verification-first reporting

Transfer windows move fast. SCN does not. Every story on this platform carries a Report Status, Official, Confirmed, Reported, or Rumour, so readers know exactly what they are reading before they share it. We built this system because sports fans deserve the same editorial rigour as readers of any serious news outlet. Rumours are published as rumours. Not packaged as fact.

A King Bygone’s Media Initiative

SCN was built by King Bygone, a media entrepreneur with a straightforward conviction: the sports stories of this generation deserve better outlets. Not just speed, but standards. The goal is a newsroom that builds its credibility over time, story by story.

How we handle errors

When we get something wrong, we say so publicly, on the original story, with the date and a clear note of what changed. Stories do not get deleted because they became inconvenient. They get updated, labelled, and left standing in the record. Our editorial standards and ethics policies are published in full.

SCN has no affiliation with any club, agent, federation, or betting operator. We answer to readers.
