Brighton & Hove Albion were founded in 1901 and spent many years moving between divisions, including a period without a permanent home after leaving the Goldstone Ground in 1997. The move to the Amex Stadium in 2011 transformed the club, which reached the Premier League in 2017. Under Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi, Brighton became known for attractive football and a data-driven recruitment model, and they qualified for Europe for the first time in 2023.
