Bayern Munich are Germany's most successful club by a distance, with more than 30 national titles and six European Cups. Founded in 1900, Bayern rose to prominence in the 1970s with Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller and Sepp Maier, winning three European Cups in a row. The club won the treble in 2013 and a sextuple in 2020, and dominated the Bundesliga with 11 consecutive titles between 2013 and 2023. Bayern have played at the Allianz Arena since 2005. Vincent Kompany won the title in his first season in charge, 2024/25.
