A $10 million purse is at stake in the Motor City as the PGA Tour's penultimate regular season event heads into its final round.
Due to forecasted storms and rain overnight and into Sunday morning, tee times for the final round of the Rocket Classic will run from approximately 10:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. ET in groups of three from Nos. 1 and 10. The unusual format is a result of the unpredictable weather conditions that have forced the Tour's hand.
Davis Riley leads the tournament at 15 under, a shot ahead of Michael Brennan entering Sunday's final round. They will play the last 18 with Rasmus Hojgaard, who shot a 61 on Moving Day, tying the mark for single-lowest round in course history.
Hojgaard's impressive performance was not the only one, as Cameron Young and Peter Malnati also tied the course record with a 9-under 61. Young, the 2026 Open Championship runner-up, is three shots off Riley's lead and currently tied for third place.
The Rocket Classic final round is underway at the Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. The late afternoon broadcast will be taken over by CBS, with live final-round action running from 1 to 3 p.m. on Golf Channel and Golf Channel mobile.
Davis Riley, the leader, has a tough task ahead of him, with Michael Brennan and Rasmus Hojgaard hot on his heels. Brennan was actually the one who carded eight consecutive birdies a day prior, one off the Tour record.
The Rocket Classic has been a thrilling event so far, with all three rounds being bogey-free. The tournament favorite, Cameron Young, has been impressive, going for six straight birdies on Friday.
