Arizona Cardinals announce Week 7 roster ahead of Sunday’s home game vs. Broncos

The Arizona Cardinals have released their Week 7 roster ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Denver Broncos at State Farm Stadium, with minimal changes from last week’s lineup. The most notable roster movement came on Wednesday, when tackle Albert Reese was claimed off waivers and tight end Shawn Bowman was cut. Safety Kitan Crawford also returned to the active roster after a stint on injured reserve.

The offensive depth chart remains largely the same, with Jacoby Brissett set to start at quarterback. Gardner Minshew and Carson Beck fill out the backups. In the running back group, Tyler Allgeier leads the pack, followed by Jeremiyah Love and Bam Knight. The wide receiver positions include Jalen Brooks and Reggie Virgil on the ‘X’ side, with Michael Wilson and Simi Fehoko listed at ‘Z’. Kendrick Bourne and Devin Duvernay hold the slots.

At tight end, Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins, and Teagan Quitoriano remain on the roster after Bowman’s release. Bowman was previously listed as the fourth tight end but was cut on Wednesday, trimming the depth there.

On the offensive line, the Cardinals have five tackles: Jayden Williams and Jedrick Wills on the left side, Elijah Wilkinson and Josh Fryar on the right, with Albert Reese newly added. The team will determine Reese’s specific position next week, and it is unclear if Fryar will shift to backup guard or remain at tackle. Isaac Seumalo and Hayden Conner provide depth at left guard, while Jon Gaines and Hayden Conner round out the right guard spots. Center duties are shared between Hjalte Froholdt and Jon Gaines.

Defensively, the line includes Dante Stills and Darius Robinson at left defensive tackle, Roy Lopez and Andrew Billings at nose tackle, and Walter Nolen with L.J. Collier on the right. The outside linebacker corps features Zaven Collins or Baron Browning on the strong side, with Josh Sweat and Jordan Burch at weak side, supported by Eku Leota.

Inside linebackers are led by Mike and Mack Wilson, followed by Cody Simon, with Jack Gibbens and Karson Sharar at Will linebacker. In the secondary, Denzel Burke and Star cover the left boundary cornerback spot, while Max Melton and Kei’Tre’ Clark cover the right. Garrett Williams and Kalen King fill nickel positions.

Safety sees Budda Baker at strong safety, with Dadrion Taylor-Demerson backing him up. Andrew Wingard, Wydett Williams, and Kitan Crawford cover free safety, with Crawford returning to the roster after injury reserve.

Special teams remain unchanged with Chad Ryland as kicker, Blake Gillikin punting and holding, and Casey Kreiter snapping. Devin Duvernay and Jalen Brooks handle kick returns, while Duvernay and Michael Wilson take punt return duties. Jeremiyah Love also appears as a kick returner.

The Cardinals will face the Broncos this Sunday with this roster, awaiting to see how Reese’s addition influences the tackle rotation. The team’s decisions on the offensive line will be closely watched after the recent changes. Meanwhile, Crawford’s return offers a boost to the secondary as Arizona looks to defend their home turf.
