Reinier de Ridder picked up a big win Saturday at UFC Fight Night 285 – and in doing so elevated himself to the highest-paid fighter on the card, at least in terms of the disclosed payouts.
The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) released a full list of disclosed payouts to MMA Junkie following Saturday's event at Golden1 Center in Sacramento, Calif. De Ridder took home a total of $360,000 from his win and show money, and another $25,000 for finishing Roman Dolidze with punches in Round 1.
This means de Ridder led the pack with the disclosed payouts of $140,000 more than the next highest earner, Gregory Rodrigues, who took home $340,000 for his victory over home-area fighter Anthony Hernandez.
The disclosed payouts do not include performance bonuses, discretionary bonuses, or letters of agreement (LOA) that are used by the promotion, typically when dealing with bigger-named athletes or other special cases.
Reinier de Ridder's big payday follows a series of impressive performances in the UFC. He has won four of his last five fights, with his only loss coming to Alex Pereira in 2021.
The Dutch middleweight's recent success has earned him a spot in the top 15 of the UFC middleweight rankings.
De Ridder's win over Roman Dolidze marked his second consecutive victory over a top-15 opponent, and it's clear that his performances are paying off in the form of bigger paychecks.
