Century’s senior forward Perry has scored 27 goals and added seven assists this season, continuing the form that earned her All-State last year. Coach Karen LaDue praised Perry’s speed and ball control, saying, “Her speed allows her to sprint past defenders and find herself 1-on-1 with the goalkeeper. She has a fantastic awareness of the goal and can place the ball accurately around the keeper.”
Midfielder Stafford, also from Century, has contributed 12 goals and seven assists. LaDue noted Stafford’s distribution and physicality: “She has the ability to send balls accurately and can find the net. Her speed and physical play make her hard to defend.”
At Byron, senior Ellavsky has maintained her dominance after being named Post Bulletin All-Area Player of the Year last season. The unbeaten Bears (15-0) rank No. 4 nationally, with Ellavsky tallying 10 goals and seven assists. Coach Jeremy Baumbach called her “the heartbeat of the team, consistently creating opportunities, disrupting opponents, and leading by example.”
Midfielder McLaughlin, another Byron senior, missed several games mid-season but remains a threat after a recent four-goal performance. Baumbach described her as “great at beating players 1-on-1,” with excellent timing and skill with both feet.
Sophomore forward Timm has scored 24 goals and provided 12 assists for her team. Known for a “lethal and strong shot” that reaches the net from distance, Timm is one of two major scoring threats on her squad.
Defender Kelm, also from Byron and an All-State player last year, has recorded four goals and four assists. Baumbach pointed to her “composure, tactical awareness, physicality, and leadership” as reasons she anchors the Bears’ backline.
La Crescent-Hokah’s Wood, a speedy sophomore with 12 goals and eight assists, has helped her team to a 9-4-2 record. Senior forward Lee, with 10 goals and four assists, has stepped up amid injuries, using her speed and physicality to score in various situations.
Senior Ayen leads Byron’s offense with 12 goals and nine assists. Baumbach described her as a “cornerstone of the Bears’ success up front” due to her combination of strength, speed, and physicality.
Junior goalie Pelowski has recorded multiple games with over 15 saves and three shutouts, despite her Eagles’ team struggling at 1-7-6. John Marshall’s senior defender Drucker has led a defensive turnaround for the Rockets, who have improved to 5-3-4 from 2-12-1 last year. Drucker is credited with helping a defense that allows just two goals per game and has four shutouts.
Kasson-Mantorville’s senior goalkeeper Addison has made 176 saves while conceding 14 goals this season. Coach Andy Abrams called her “more than just a goalkeeper — she is a leader, a competitor, and one of the biggest reasons Kasson-Mantorville has remained competitive against some of the area's best teams.”
