Championship Transfer Update: 17 New Faces Joining and Leaving SCFC This Summer
Seventeen players have joined and left Scottish Championship clubs as the transfer window continues to be active in the second tier of Scottish football.
A significant number of players have moved from one club to another, with some notable transfers taking place.
Arbroath has been one of the busiest clubs, bringing in Andy Winter, Michael McKenna, Scott McGill, Brody Paterson, and Stuart Morrison, while loaning in Cormac Daly and Scott Constable. The club has also seen several players leave, including Harry Cochrane, Jack Wilkie, Dapo Mebude, Victor Enem, Ally Spalding, Aaron Muirhead, Ross Callachan, and several others.
The club's busy transfer activity is not an isolated incident, as many Championship clubs have been actively recruiting new players. Ayr United has brought in Gary Naysmith, Leon King, Ben Summers, Luke McBeth, Ross Taylor, Kieran Shanks, and Reece Lyon, while loaning in Harry Stone and Owen Stirton.
Dunfermline Athletic has also been active in the transfer market, signing Aston Oxborough, Kian Corbally, Musa Dibaga, Luke Robinson, and Oli Shaw, while loaning in Sam Cleall-Harding. The club has also seen several players leave, including Matty Todd, Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen, Sam Young, and several others.
Greenock Morton has brought in Jayden Gorman, Bobby McLuckie, Harry Cochrane, Grant Savoury, Brian Kinnear, Laiith Fairnie, and Joey O'Toole, while loaning in Callum Sandilands and Elyh Harrison. The club has also seen several players leave, including Cammy MacPherson, Zak Delaney, Owen Moffat, and several others.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle has signed Graeme Shinnie, Kerr Smith, Ryan Duncan, Noa Boutin, Liam Sole, Miller Keir, and Hamzad Kargbo, while loaning in Alfie Bavidge, Alfie Stewart, and Morgan Bates. The club has also seen several players leave, including Ross Millen, Sam Nixon, Robbie Thompson, and several others.
Livingston has brought in Glenn Whelan, Liam Polworth, Sam Nicholson, Bradly van Hoeven, Besir Iseni, Cammy Palmer, Joe Boggan, Cammy MacPherson, Tyrese Sinclair, Jack Wilkie, and Jordan Doherty, while loaning in none. The club has also seen several players leave, including Marvin Bartley, Lewis Smith, Tete Yengi, Jannik Wanner, and several others.
The transfer window is set to close on August 31st, with clubs still actively recruiting new players.
