Denis Bouanga was born in Le Mans and came through Lorient’s academy, playing for Strasbourg, Tours, Nîmes and Saint-Étienne in France.
Los Angeles FC signed him in 2022, and he became one of MLS’s most prolific attackers, winning the MLS Golden Boot in 2023. He is a quick, direct forward who usually starts on the left. Bouanga represents Gabon.
