Super Sprint tips: Kate is taking on Sam and Declan in the Newbury feature

Kate Tracey, Sam Boswell, and Declan Rix have weighed in on the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury, with Bint Archange emerging as the market leader for the Richard Hughes team.

Bint Archange heads the market after conquering the Listed Dragon Stakes on her last start. However, she faces stiff competition from 25 two-year-olds in the Newbury feature event.

Kate Tracey is backing Bint Archange, citing her experience and pace as key factors. "I think Bint Archange is the one I must be with here. I think she's worth every part of her rating and on my figures, she has a higher mark on my figures than BHA."

Tracey believes Bint Archange's experience will give her an edge over her inexperienced rivals. "She is drawn well and has a good pace to aim at with speed around. I think she will get an excellent tow into the race and her experience in this will be so important."

Sam Boswell, on the other hand, is siding with Etienne from the Richard Spencer team. Boswell thinks Etienne's debut at Newmarket was impressive and that he offers better value than the favourite. "I really liked his debut on the July Course at Newmarket. He took a while to settle on debut but with pace on here he should have a good pace to aim at."

Boswell also points out that Richard Hannon's runners, who have a great record in the race, don't have the best draw. "I think the favourite is too short and I think he is more value here at the prices."

Declan Rix is also backing Bint Archange, citing her impressive performance at Sandown and her ability to bounce back from disappointment. "I love this sort of race with good prize money, plenty of runners who have been purchased cheaply. I think the favourite has got a great chance after winning at Ascot and Sandown this season."

Rix believes Richard Hughes rates Bint Archange highly and that she could be a lot better than her rivals. "The most pleasing thing from Sandown was how quickly she bounced back from disappointment at Royal Ascot which I can always forgive. Her Ascot run showed us her turn of foot and quickly she can shift."

The Weatherbys Super Sprint is set to take place at Newbury on Saturday, with 25 two-year-olds competing for the top prize.
