PSV Turn Down Rangers’ £15m Bid for Driouech

PSV Eindhoven have rejected Rangers' improved £15m bid for winger Couhaib Driouech. The 24-year-old Algerian forward has been a target for several clubs this summer, with Burnley and Celta Vigo now entering the race to sign him.

The Scottish club had initially made a £6m offer for Driouech, which was rejected by PSV. Rangers then improved their bid to £15m, but PSV have turned it down, leaving Driouech's future uncertain.

Celta Vigo, who entered the race to sign Driouech along with Rangers, have reportedly made a good impression on the player. According to Mounir Boualin, a source close to Driouech, the Spanish club has a slight preference over Rangers. However, no official deal has been announced yet.

Meanwhile, Driouech's compatriot Fares Ghedjemis is being pursued by Monaco. The 23-year-old Algerian winger has been offered a deal by the French club, but the details of the offer are not known. Ghedjemis had previously been linked with a move to Frosinone, who rejected a £6m bid from Celtic and Rangers.

In other transfer news, Celtic are waiting for the green light to sign Egypt winger Haissem Hassan. The 24-year-old has been left out of Real Oviedo's squad due to visa issues, but the Spanish club are poised to make £6m, plus £1.3m more if Celtic reach the Champions League proper. Real Oviedo head coach Julian Calero has revealed that they will not stand in the way of Hassan's move to Celtic.

Hassan's move to Celtic has been delayed due to visa issues, but the club are eager to complete the deal. Celtic are also weighing up a move for Heart of Midlothian forward Claudio Braga, who has attracted interest from several clubs. Braga's future at Hearts is uncertain, and Celtic are ready to step up their interest in the 26-year-old.

In other Scottish transfer news, Bolton Wanderers manager Steven Schumacher has admitted that he would love to bring Celtic striker Johnny Kenny back to the club. However, Schumacher is unsure whether he can afford the 23-year-old, who is valued at a significant amount by Celtic.
