Arsenal will welcome Leeds United to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, October 10, as the Premier League resumes after a three-week international break. The match kicks off at 12:30 p.m. local time, with coverage in the United States available on USA Network and streaming via DIRECTV.
The Gunners return to league action having slipped to second place after a 3-0 defeat to Brighton in their last outing before the break. That loss ended Arsenal’s early lead and left them trailing Manchester City in the title race. Leeds, by contrast, have made a strong start to the season and remain unbeaten after five matches, sitting fifth in the Premier League table.
Fans tuning in from the U.S. can catch the game at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time, 6:30 a.m. Central, 5:30 a.m. Mountain, and 4:30 a.m. Pacific. The fixture will open a busy weekend of Premier League action, with Aston Villa facing Brentford and Chelsea hosting Bournemouth later on Saturday morning. Manchester United and Tottenham will meet in the afternoon kickoff at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.
Arsenal’s recent defeat to Brighton was a setback after a promising start to the campaign. The loss not only cost them the top spot but also raised questions about the team’s consistency under pressure. Manager Mikel Arteta will be looking for a response from his squad as they aim to regain momentum on home soil.
Leeds have impressed under manager Daniel Farke, maintaining an unbeaten run that has put them in contention among the league’s top teams early on. Their fifth-place standing reflects a solid defensive record combined with an effective attack, making them a challenging opponent for Arsenal.
The Premier League schedule continues through the weekend with several key matches. On Sunday, Crystal Palace face Nottingham Forest and Liverpool take on Manchester City, both games set for morning kickoffs in the U.S. The week concludes with Coventry City hosting Newcastle on Monday afternoon.
Saturday’s clash between Arsenal and Leeds will be a test for both sides as they seek to build on their position in the table after the international break. Supporters can follow the match live on USA Network or stream it on DIRECTV.
