The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will try to run the Black's Tire 250 on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Richmond Raceway, following a weather postponement on Aug. 14.
The weather forecast for Aug. 15 calls for little chance of rain in the Richmond area.
Shane van Gisbergen is on the pole in a rare start in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet. He will lead the pack into the green flag.
The 250-lap event will cover 187.5 miles of the 0.75-mile oval at Richmond Raceway.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Richmond will be broadcast nationally on FS2, with green flag time set for approximately 12 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Central on Saturday, Aug. 15.
Fans can also catch the action on the NASCAR Racing Network Radio and stream it on NASCAR.com and SiriusXM for audio (subscription required).
Christopher Bell will not drive the No. 62 entry with his focus on the Cup Series race later in the day. Leland Honeyman Jr. will drive the Halmar Friesen Racing truck in relief.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has already completed several events this season, including the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway, won by Chandler Smith, and the Fr8 Racing 208 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, won by Kyle Busch.
