Arman Tsarukyan will face Mauricio Ruffy in the UFC 331 co-main event on September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Tsarukyan, who has been on a five-fight winning streak, will enter the bout riding the momentum of his last fight, where he defeated Dan Hooker via submission at UFC Fight Night 265 in November. The finish earned him a 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
The event will mark the UFC's sixth visit to Los Angeles, but the first in eight years. The last time the octagon was in L.A. was for UFC 227 in August 2018.
Ruffy has won back-to-back fights, including a TKO win over Michael Chandler at the UFC Freedom 250 event in June. He will be looking to extend his winning streak against Tsarukyan.
UFC 331 will be headlined by a flyweight championship rematch between titleholder Joshua Van and former champion Alexandre Pantoja. The event is expected to draw a large crowd to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Tsarukyan's opponent, Ruffy, has been on a roll, winning his last two fights. He will be looking to add to his winning streak against Tsarukyan.
The bout between Tsarukyan and Ruffy will be a five-round fight, with both fighters looking to make a statement in the co-main event of UFC 331.
