Four men arrested in connection with San Francisco 49ers’ Keion White shooting at nightclub party

Four men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White at a nightclub in February. The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. on February 9 at Dahlia, a nightclub in San Francisco’s Mission District where White was hosting a private Super Bowl party.

White was shot in the ankle and required surgery at a local hospital, according to the 49ers. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said authorities made the arrests over the past week with assistance from law enforcement agencies in Atlanta, Stockton, Irvine, and Los Angeles.

Lew explained that multiple suspects carrying firearms confronted White on the night of the shooting. Investigators relied on video footage and witness accounts to identify and locate the men involved.

On October 7, 35-year-old Curtis Green was arrested in Irvine. Two days later, 36-year-old Gregory Walker from Mountain House, California, was taken into custody. Both men were booked Monday into San Francisco County Jail and were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday afternoon.

District Attorney Brooke Jenkins stated prosecutors would seek no bail for Walker because of the public safety risk he poses. Walker faces charges including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, which prosecutors say he fired, along with additional charges related to possessing a gun as a felon. Green faces misdemeanor charges for brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed loaded gun in public.

The San Francisco public defender’s office was contacted Wednesday to confirm if it is representing the two men, but no statement had been provided.

Two other men arrested in separate jurisdictions have not yet been brought into local custody but will face charges in San Francisco once transferred, Jenkins added.

One of these men, 38 years old, was arrested in Atlanta on October 7 on a no-bail warrant. Police seized an illegal firearm during that arrest, along with thousands of grams of MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl at his residence.

On the same day, another man, aged 36, was arrested in Stockton, California, in connection with the shooting. Authorities recovered a loaded firearm, over 100 oxycodone pills, and $7,000 in cash during that arrest.

The investigation into the nightclub shooting has involved multiple agencies across states, reflecting the complexity and reach of the case. The arrests mark significant progress in responding to the incident that injured an active NFL player during a high-profile event.
