The 2026 World Cup is down to its final two matches, with Spain and Argentina set to contest the final in New Jersey on Sunday.
European champions Spain have been ultra-impressive throughout the tournament, while Lionel Messi's Argentina side have again shown their ability to launch stunning comebacks.
As the World Cup nears its conclusion, we've decided to name our team of the tournament.

Vozinha of Cape Verde has been named as the goalkeeper in our 4-3-3 formation. The 40-year-old has been a star of the tournament, keeping a clean sheet against Spain on Cape Verde's World Cup debut and making eight saves in his side's last-32 extra-time loss to Argentina.
Pedro Porro of Spain has been named as one of the defenders, having been simply outstanding since nailing a starting berth in the knockout phase. He scored his first international goal against Austria and finished off the "team goal" of the tournament in the semi-final win over France.

Dayot Upamecano of France has also been included, having been a key figure for France at the back. He was particularly impressive in the last-32 win over Sweden and their strong-looking forward line.
Aymeric Laporte of Spain has formed an outstanding partnership with Barcelona teenager Pau Cubarsi, and has been so composed on the ball and near-impossible to get past off the ball.

Marc Cucurella of Spain has been brilliant for Spain at left-back, with his marauding runs down the left and defensive solidity.
In midfield, Rodri of Spain has marshalled a magnificent defence, which has conceded only one goal in seven matches. He is his team's figurehead, both in possession and in leadership.

Enzo Fernandez of Argentina has also been named, having shown his penchant for big moments. He headed home a brilliant winner to complete Argentina's comeback win against Egypt and scored the equaliser from range against England.
Jude Bellingham of England has been included, having announced his arrival at the World Cup party with a wonderful solo effort against Croatia. He scored six goals, including two brilliant match-winning braces against Mexico and Norway.

Up front, Kylian Mbappe of France has been named, having produced a third outstanding World Cup display. He has scored eight goals, including a long-range stunner against Senegal, a dazzling solo effort against Sweden and an exquisite curling finish against Morocco.
Lionel Messi of Argentina has been included, having made a mockery of those who thought his time at the top level was over. At 39, he has been magnificent, scoring his first-ever World Cup hat-trick in the opener against Algeria.

Erling Haaland of Norway has also been named, having led his country to a best-ever World Cup run, the last eight. He looked bang in the mood from the opener against Iraq, where he scored twice, and his highlight was undoubtedly his brilliant double against Brazil.
With the final set to take place on Sunday, all eyes will be on Spain and Argentina as they battle it out for World Cup glory.
