Real Madrid have officially unveiled their new away kit for the 2026-27 campaign, featuring a bold dark green design with off-white accents.
The new kit is a modern take on a classic color combination that has appeared in the club's history. According to the club, the shirt is built with adidas' latest Climacool+ technology, designed to improve ventilation and moisture management to help players stay cool during matches. The jersey includes a subtle geometric pattern incorporating Real Madrid's initials, an off-white trimmed collar, and the adidas Trefoil logo.
The launch campaign is fronted by Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and Vinícius Júnior, with additional promotional images featuring Federico Valverde, Arda Güler, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Brahim Díaz, Antonio Rüdiger, Athenea del Castillo, and Linda Caicedo.
While green is not traditionally associated with Real Madrid, it has appeared on a handful of occasions throughout the club's history. The first came in 1965 during a tour of South America, when Madrid wore borrowed green shirts in a friendly against River Plate in Caracas after the two teams' regular kits clashed. The match finished in a 1-1 draw.
The new away kit is available now through Real Madrid's official stores, adidas retailers, and adidas' online store. Adult replica jerseys begin at €100. The goalkeeper's away kit was also unveiled alongside the outfield strip, featuring a light blue design with darker blue shading along the sleeves and sides, complemented by fluorescent yellow adidas stripes.
Real Madrid's bold new away kit is a departure from the traditional white and blue colors associated with the club. However, it's not the first time the club has worn green – adidas introduced a green third kit for the 2012-13 season, making this the first time in over a decade that the color returns to the club's official match wardrobe.
The new kit is set to be worn by the team for the first time in their upcoming matches, starting with the 2026-27 season. The unveiling of the away kit comes after the club previously launched their home strip for the new season.
