Rasmus Højlund grew up in Copenhagen and came through FC Copenhagen’s academy before moving to Sturm Graz in 2022 and then Atalanta later that year, where he scored nine Serie A goals in his only season.
Manchester United signed him in 2023 for around £72 million. He showed flashes of his potential but struggled for consistency in a difficult team. Napoli signed him in 2025, first on loan, with the deal later made permanent.
Højlund is Denmark’s first-choice striker and played at Euro 2024.
