Khéphren Thuram is the son of France World Cup winner Lilian Thuram and was born in Reggio Emilia while his father played for Parma. He began his career at Monaco before joining Nice in 2019.
Over five seasons at Nice he developed into a tall, athletic midfielder who carries the ball through midfield. Juventus signed him in 2024.
Thuram has been capped by France. His brother Marcus plays for Inter.
Playing style
Thuram is a tall, athletic midfielder who carries the ball through midfield with long, powerful strides. He is strong in the tackle and covers a lot of ground, making him effective in both defensive and attacking phases. At Nice he developed into one of Ligue 1’s best midfielders, and his move to Juventus gave him the chance to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs, where his father Lilian also played. His ability to beat the press by dribbling, rather than passing, makes him an unusual and valuable profile.
International career
Thuram has been capped by France. His brother Marcus is also a France international, continuing a remarkable family connection to the national team started by their father, a World Cup winner in 1998.
Career in numbers
Since his first senior season in 2018/19, Thuram has made 266 club appearances and scored 18 goals in all competitions for 3 clubs. The 2024/25 season, with 5 goals from 51 matches for Juventus, remains his highest tally. The full season-by-season record is in the Stats section of this profile.
