Álex Remiro grew up in Cascante, Navarre, and came through Athletic Club’s academy, with loan spells at several clubs including Levante and Huesca.
He joined Real Sociedad in 2019 and won the Copa del Rey in his first season. He has been one of La Liga’s most consistent goalkeepers, known for his reflexes and distribution, and he has been called up to the Spain squad.
