NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series race at Phoenix Raceway will air on FS1 Friday night after a scheduling shift freed the network’s prime slot. The Zero Carbon Bioethanol 150 Powered by POET, initially set to move to FS2 and FOX Business, will now start at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1 as planned.
The change follows the Milwaukee Brewers’ four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, which eliminated the need for a fifth game on Friday night. FOX Sports had prepared for a potential Game 5 by moving the NASCAR race off FS1 to accommodate MLB postseason coverage. Once the sweep concluded, FS1’s schedule reopened, allowing the Truck Series event to return to its original broadcast home.
The race carries weight as the Truck Series Chase nears its final stages. Competitors will complete 150 laps on the one-mile Phoenix oval, where managing tire wear, maintaining track position, and executing restarts will be critical. The event offers championship hopefuls another chance to improve their standings before the postseason wraps up.
Fans who had prepared to find the race on FS2 or FOX Business will now watch on FS1, a familiar channel for NASCAR’s championship chase. The race will also stream via FOX One, while radio coverage will come from MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The last-minute broadcast adjustment illustrates the challenges of balancing live sports schedules in postseason seasons. With MLB’s NLCS no longer extending, NASCAR’s Truck Series can take its place in the spotlight at Phoenix as the championship battle intensifies.
