FanDuel is offering new users up to $250 in bonus bets when they place bets of $5 or more on the Dallas Cowboys versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers game this Thursday night. The promotion applies over five days starting with the Week 5 NFL matchup, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET at JerryWorld, where the Cowboys host the winless Buccaneers.
Dallas enters the contest with a 2-2 record and 8.5-point favorite status, while Tampa Bay has yet to secure a victory this season. The over/under is set at 48.5 points. FanDuel’s promo code page provides details and terms for users interested in claiming the bonus bets.
The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has been on a 55-44 run with top-rated NFL picks dating back to 2024. According to the model, the Buccaneers’ defense has allowed just 282.8 yards per game but still concedes an average of 24 points due to turnover problems. The Cowboys are averaging 30.5 points per game, suggesting they could exploit Tampa Bay’s struggles.
The model forecasts a high-scoring game, with the over hitting 67% of the time and a combined total of 56 points in the latest simulations. FanDuel’s bonus bet offer extends beyond the NFL to college football and other sports, using the same promo code.
Tampa Bay faces additional challenges with quarterback Baker Mayfield sidelined by a thumb injury. Rookie Jalon Daniels, who went undrafted, will start under center. The Buccaneers will likely rely heavily on running back Bucky Irving, projected by the SportsLine props model to carry the ball 19 times. Protecting the football will be crucial for Tampa Bay to control the clock and limit Dallas’s offensive opportunities.
FanDuel has incorporated responsible gaming tools into its platform, including the ability to set betting activity alerts, take timeouts, and use self-exclusion measures. Contact information for helplines and support resources is available for users who need assistance.
