Texas A&M transfer Edge Lands on Bruce Feldman's 2026 Freaks List at No. 5

Former Northwestern defensive end Anto Saka has catapulted to the fifth spot on Bruce Feldman's 2026 Freaks List, following a remarkable transformation since joining the Texas A&M program.

Saka's incredible athletic profile, which includes a sturdy frame, elite speed off the edge, and a rare combination of size and body composition, has earned him widespread recognition. According to Feldman, Saka's GPS speed clocked in at 21.9 mph, while his body fat percentage stands at a mere 8.2 percent.

The 6-6, 235-pound defensive end has been a standout performer in his limited role last season, generating 30 pressures. Feldman highlighted Saka's impressive strength and speed numbers, including 12 sacks and three forced fumbles in his three seasons combined at Northwestern.

Notably, Saka's transformation has been significant, with the defensive end adding weight since arriving in College Station. His new physique now appears SEC-ready, pairing a sturdy frame with elite speed off the edge.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M has been actively working to build a top-tier roster under head coach Mike Elko. The program has made significant strides in the last two recruiting cycles, and Saka's emergence as a top prospect is a testament to their efforts.

Saka's inclusion on the Freaks List is not the only nod to Texas A&M. Rice running back D'Andre Hardeman Jr., the son of former Aggie running back Tiki Hardeman, also cracked the top portion of the list at No. 19.

Hardeman's impressive strength and speed numbers, including 34 reps of 225 pounds, a 600-pound squat, and a 21.3 mph GPS sprint, have garnered significant attention. The 6-6, 235-pound wide receiver's 82 1/2-inch wingspan and 10.1 100M speed make him a notable prospect.

The 2026 Freaks List has generated significant buzz in the college football community, with several prospects showcasing incredible athletic profiles. As the recruiting cycle continues to heat up, Saka's inclusion on the list is a significant development for Texas A&M and a testament to his remarkable transformation.
