The Los Angeles Dodgers face elimination at home Thursday as they prepare to host the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series. After losing Game 3 by a score of 6-2, the Dodgers find themselves down 0-3 in the series, needing to win four straight games to reach a third consecutive World Series. The Brewers, who finished the regular season with the best record in baseball, are one win away from ending Los Angeles’s postseason run.
The Dodgers entered October with high hopes for another title, but Milwaukee has dominated the series early on. The Brewers’ balanced attack and solid pitching have repeatedly put pressure on Los Angeles, leaving the Dodgers in a rare and difficult position. Only one team in MLB history has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit in a postseason series, underscoring the scale of the challenge facing the Dodgers.
Game 4 kicks off at 5:00 p.m. PDT at Dodger Stadium. Fans across the country can watch the elimination game on FS1 or stream it live via Sling TV, which offers multiple package options without local broadcast restrictions. Sling Select starts at $29.99 per month, providing an affordable way to watch the game for those without cable. Other streaming services like fuboTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV also carry FS1 but at higher price points and with varying trial periods.
For the Dodgers, every pitch and at-bat in Game 4 carries extra weight. Their home crowd will be hoping for a spark to halt the Brewers’ momentum and keep the Los Angeles season alive. Meanwhile, Milwaukee can close out the series on the road, a prospect that would send shockwaves through baseball and end the Dodgers’ bid for a three-peat.
As the teams prepare to take the field, the Dodgers’ path remains narrow. Their focus will be on one game at a time, starting with this evening’s contest in front of a packed Dodger Stadium. The Brewers will look to maintain their dominant form and secure the final victory to advance to the World Series.
