The 2026 Big School All-Area baseball team has been unveiled, and the top performers in Greater Lafayette have been recognized for their outstanding achievements on the diamond.
Jake Winger, a senior from McCutcheon, has been named the Player of the Year. He hit a team-leading .413 with seven home runs and 20 RBIs, while also posting a 1.40 ERA and a 4-2 record on the mound.
Winger's impressive season earned him an Indiana All-Star nod and an all-state selection as a third baseman.
Henry Bannon, a junior from Crawfordsville, was a standout on both the mound and at the plate, hitting .325 with five doubles, three triples, and two home runs.
Bannon also had a strong season on the mound, going 6-1 with a 1.35 ERA and 83 strikeouts over 62 1/3 innings.
Matthew Berry, a senior from Frankfort, hit .441 and scored 34 runs, ripping 11 doubles, one triple, and five homers behind the dish.
Mason Brummett, a junior from Twin Lakes, was a threat on the basepaths, swiping 28 bases and scoring 43 runs while hitting .418 with two doubles, four triples, and two homers.
Rhett Clarkson, a senior from McCutcheon, hit .420 with six doubles and two triples, adding 15 runs scored and driving in another 15 with five stolen bases.

Kaden Keys, a senior from Harrison, hit .465, driving in 10 and scoring 17 runs while also adding nine stolen bases.
Alex Lopez, a junior from Frankfort, went 4-3 with a 1.11 ERA, striking out 67 in 50 2/3 innings, while also hitting .476 with 12 doubles, two triples, and three home runs.
