Marcus Ingvartsen grew up in Farum, Denmark, and came through Nordsjælland’s academy, finishing as the Danish league’s top scorer in 2016/17.
He played for Genk, Union Berlin and Mainz 05 before returning to Nordsjælland, and joined San Diego FC in 2025 for their first MLS season. He is a hard-working, intelligent forward.
