Christopher Nkunku grew up in Lagny-sur-Marne near Paris and came through Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, winning Ligue 1 titles before moving to RB Leipzig in 2019.
At Leipzig he became one of Europe’s most productive attackers, named Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2021/22 and winning the DFB-Pokal. He joined Chelsea in 2023, where injuries limited him, then moved to AC Milan, and he later returned to Leipzig on loan.
Nkunku has been capped by France, though injury ruled him out of the 2022 World Cup on the eve of the tournament.
