Scott McTominay was born in Lancaster, England, and came through Manchester United’s academy, making his first-team debut in 2017. Over seven seasons he became a reliable, hard-working midfielder with a knack for important goals, winning the FA Cup in 2024.
Napoli signed him in 2024, and his impact was immediate: he scored 12 Serie A goals as Napoli won the title in 2024/25, and he was named the league’s most valuable player. His late runs into the box made him one of the most effective goalscoring midfielders in Europe.
McTominay represents Scotland, the country of his father, and scored seven goals in qualifying for Euro 2024.
