Sunderland have handed new long-term contracts to Wilson Isidor and Robin Roefs, with the striker committing his future to the Black Cats until 2030 and the goalkeeper extending his stay on Wearside until 2031.
The double announcement comes as a timely boost ahead of the club's Premier League clash with Fulham. Isidor has become an important figure for Sunderland since joining, scoring 19 goals in 83 games for the club.
"I'm very happy to continue my journey with Sunderland," Isidor said.
"This club has given me some great memories already, and I feel there is still a lot more to achieve here.
"Playing in the Premier League and representing Haiti at the World Cup have been special moments for me, and now I'm focused on continuing to improve, helping the team and giving everything I can for the supporters."
Director of football Florent Ghisolfi praised the forward's attitude and commitment.
"Wilson has been an important part of the journey this Club has been on, from fighting for promotion to establishing ourselves back in the Premier League," Ghisolfi said.
"What represents Sunderland is his attitude and commitment to the team. Whether he starts the game or comes from the bench to make an impact, he always gives everything he has."
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Roefs has signed a new deal keeping him at Sunderland until 2031 following an impressive first season in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old joined from NEC Nijmegen last summer and kept 10 clean sheets in 35 league appearances as Sunderland finished seventh and qualified for Europe.
Ghisolfi said: "We are very pleased that Robin has committed his future to Sunderland until 2031.
"He had a strong first season with us, but what we value just as much is his humility, his willingness to work and his desire to keep improving every day."
Roefs added: "Sunderland has felt like home from the moment I arrived.
"Last season was incredible, finishing seventh and qualifying for Europe, but we all feel there's so much more to come from this squad of players, so we're now focused on what's next.
"I'm really excited about playing my part in the bright future of this football club."
The contracts secure two key figures as Sunderland look to build on their surprise European qualification. Isidor's versatility in attack has been central to the club's rise, while Roefs has quickly established himself as a reliable presence between the posts.
Both players will be expected to feature when Sunderland host Fulham, with the club aiming to maintain momentum in their second consecutive Premier League campaign.
