Ellie Scotney is set to face WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown in a highly anticipated bout on 8 November in Arlington, Texas.
Scotney, 28, is stepping up a division in pursuit of becoming a two-weight world champion after vacating her undisputed super-bantamweight champion status in April.
The bout will be one of four world title fights on the MVPW-07 card, with Scotney looking to make more history and become a two-weight world champion.
"I can't wait for the next chapter to begin at 126lb, where I truly believe the world will see the best of me," Scotney said.
Scotney boasts a perfect record of 12 victories, with each of those wins coming via decision.
The Londoner became Britain's youngest undisputed champion in the four-belt era when she beat Mayelli Flores by unanimous decision at the Olympia in April.
Scotney's decision to step up a division is a bold move, but one that could potentially pay off with a win over the experienced Brown.
Brown, 38, is a seasoned champion with 18 wins in 20 bouts as a professional.
The American has lost only one of her professional fights, with one no-contest also on her record.
Scotney will face a tough challenge in Brown, but the 28-year-old is confident in her abilities.
The bout against Brown serves as the co-main event on the MVPW-07 card, which will be headlined by Elif Nur Turhan's IBF lightweight defence against Alycia Baumgardner.
Baumgardner will also be seeking to become a two-division champion when she steps up to lightweight, adding to the excitement of the card.
The card also features Somali-British boxer Ramla Ali facing American Mikiah Kreps for the vacant WBO and IBF super-bantamweight titles.
The final world title fight on the programme features Australia's Skye Nicolson as she defends her WBC super-bantamweight belt against Japan's Miyo Yoshida.
Scotney's bout against Brown is one of the most highly anticipated fights on the card, with both women looking to make a statement in the ring.
The outcome of the fight will be closely watched by fans and pundits alike, with many expecting a closely contested bout.
The fight is scheduled to take place on 8 November in Arlington, Texas, with fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see Scotney take on the best of the best.
