NXT Heatwave X: Ola De Calor Card Takes On AEW's Strongest Rivals

The WWE and AAA will be taking on AEW's top talent on August 30 with a dual show at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.

NXT Heatwave and Ola de Calor are scheduled to take place at the same venue on the same day, with Ola de Calor kicking off at 12 p.m. ET and NXT Heatwave following at 3 p.m. ET.

The dual show might just become one of the biggest pro wrestling highlights of the month, with both cards featuring a mix of established stars and rising talent. Two matches have been officially announced for NXT Heatwave: Kendal Grey defending her NXT Women's Championship against Kelani Jordan, and Zaria taking on Wren Sinclair in a unifying match for the NXT Women's North American and WWE Women's Speed Championships. The NXT Championship match between Tony D'Angelo and an as-yet-unnamed opponent is also set to take place.

Ola de Calor, on the other hand, has no announced matches, but features a star-studded lineup that includes Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, La Catalina, Penta, Rey Fenix, and Rey Mysterio.

Both cards will be broadcast on different channels: NXT Heatwave will be available on The CW and ESPN Unlimited in the United States, as well as Netflix internationally, while Ola de Calor will be shown on Fox in Latin America and on YouTube and Facebook everywhere else, making it free to watch outside of Latin America.

This dual show will run against AEW's All In pay-per-view event at Wembley Stadium, which costs $49.99. Meanwhile, Ola de Calor and NXT Heatwave will be available to fans for free.

The success of this dual show could have significant implications for the wrestling world, particularly in terms of viewership and ratings.

The stage is set for a thrilling showdown between the WWE and AAA, and fans around the world will be eagerly awaiting the outcome.

The question on everyone's mind now is: what will be the outcome of these two shows, and how will they impact the wrestling world?
