BYU's receivers coach Fesi Sitake says Legend Glasker has "solidified his spot" with the first-team offense. Glasker, a freshman receiver, has impressed coaches with his work ethic, athleticism, and ability to pick up the playbook quickly. The three-star recruit from Lehi High graduated early to enroll at BYU and has already made a name for himself in preseason training camp.

Sitake's son, who also has the middle name Legend, has been inspired by Glasker's rise to prominence. The coach praises Glasker's humility and work ethic, saying, "He's not just a talented kid. He's so much more." Glasker's family has a strong athletic background, with his grandfather and uncle being brothers.
Glasker's unique first name was given to him by his father, Ervin, who decided on the name regardless of whether the baby was a boy or a girl. Glasker says he loves his name and is proud to live up to his father's premonition. He's already made a name for himself on BYU's social media team, appearing in several highlights videos.
The BYU receivers room is filled with talented players, including sophomore Tei Nacua, senior Tiger Bachmeier, and sophomore Reggie Frischknecht. Glasker believes he can contribute to the team by being a deep threat and taking slant passes for significant gains. He's also being looked at as a potential kickoff and punt returner.
As a high school player, Glasker caught 37 passes for 781 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior and 37 passes for 676 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. He ran a 4.42-second time in the 40-yard dash at a skills camp during his junior year and believes he can run something in the 4.3 range with continued training.
Glasker's decision to commit to BYU early and stick with that pledge was influenced by his desire to follow in the footsteps of BYU linebacker Isaiah Glasker and his love for the coaching staff. He's currently wearing No. 1 and hopes to contribute to the team in any way he can.
Glasker's progress will be closely monitored as the season approaches. He's already made a strong impression on coaches and fans, and it will be interesting to see how he develops throughout the season.
