The Savannah Eagles Fans Cast Their Vote for the Top Returning Receiver in the Greater Savannah Area

Savannah Eagles fans have a chance to select their favorite top returning receiver in the Greater Savannah area, as an open poll was recently published with no restrictions on the voting.

The poll features 21 candidates from various teams in the Greater Savannah area, including Jalen Hicks from Calvary Day, Eron Mallard from Benedictine, and Trayvis Hunter from Effingham County. The poll will close on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m.

Benedictine is ranked No. 2 in Class 5A, behind only Cartersville, as the Cadets come off their run to the Class 4A state championship game last year. This ranking is likely due in part to their standout receivers.

Calvary Day is ranked as the top dog in Class 2A-4A Private, a year after battling against state champion Hebron Christian in the Private School title game last year.

The top returning receivers in the Greater Savannah area include Jalen Hicks, Eron Mallard, Marlon Knight Jr., Eli Grant, Trayvis Hunter, Jacobi Pasley, Isaiah "Zeke" Brown, Cam Yeldell, Ty Pinckney Jr., Jaylon Elliott, Peyton Bean, Carlito Savea, LaVon Owens, Cole Henderson, Malik Letman, Taff James, Aaron Brown, Kamari Duncan, Dwane Franklin, Michael Cooler, and Dennis Knight.

Fans can vote for their favorite top returning receiver in the Greater Savannah area through an open poll with no restrictions on the voting. The poll will close on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m.

The outcome of the poll will be announced after the voting closes.
