Malik Washington, WR, Miami Dolphins, is expected to have a breakout season in 2026, with many predicting him to become a WR1 by the end of the year.
Washington, a third-year player, has shown steady improvement since his rookie season, going from 26 catches to 46 last year. He is now on top of a receiving room full of rookies and underperforming veterans on their second teams.
Miami's passing game is likely to rely heavily on Washington, who led college football in catches in 2023 while at Virginia (110). His ability to handle volume could make him a valuable asset for fantasy teams.
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars, is another player primed for a breakout in 2026. The Jaguars replaced starting running back Travis Etienne Jr. with a non-receiving back in Chris Rodriguez, which suggests confidence in Tuten, a fourth-round pick last year.
Tuten's average price tag of the sixth round might be a little high, but he also has RB1 upside and should score a lot of points in what should be a strong Jaguars offense.
Luther Burden, WR, Chicago Bears, is a player to watch in 2026, especially after Bears coach Ben Johnson compared him to multi-Pro Bowl wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Burden caught 47 passes as a rookie and got better every week toward the end of the season.
However, Burden suffered a groin injury in practice on Saturday, Aug. 9, which could delay his breakout and make him not worth his fifth round price tag.
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Browns, is usually one of the first eight tight ends drafted this year, but he could be a steal at that price. He turned 107 targets into 72 catches for 731 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie and could top 100 catches and/or 1,000 yards in 2026.
Jonah Coleman, RB, Denver Broncos, is a rookie who could carve out a role even without anyone else going down. The 220-pound bruiser scored 25 rushing touchdowns combined his last two years at Washington and could find himself in the end zone a lot as a rookie.
Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, Baltimore Ravens, is a longshot, but he could make an immediate impact if he lives up to the hype. Lane is a huge target with sticky hands who has been compared to Michael Thomas and Deandre Hopkins in training camp.
