Chris Moore, a former University of Cincinnati Bearcats receiver, is set to rejoin the Baltimore Ravens, according to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Moore previously played for the Ravens from 2016 to 2020, after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He left the team to play for the Houston Texans in 2021 and then joined the Washington Commanders last season.
The 33-year-old receiver played 14 games for the Commanders, catching 11 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown. His return to the Ravens marks a reunion with a team he knows well.
Moore had a standout college career with the Bearcats, catching 119 passes for 2,301 yards with 26 touchdowns over four seasons from 2012 to 2015. His wife, Toria, has strong ties to the region, having grown up in Fairfield and been a co-captain of UC's dance team.
Moore's return to the Ravens raises questions about the team's receiving corps, which has undergone significant changes in recent seasons. The team will likely be looking to him to contribute to their passing game.
