Leah Cirincione named coordinator of tournament services for 2027 RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island

Leah Cirincione has been named Coordinator of Tournament Services for the 2027 RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island. The Heritage Classic Foundation announced the appointment on Tuesday, confirming Cirincione will oversee the tournament’s volunteer program and assist with year-round operations.

Cirincione graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2026 with a degree in marketing and sports management. A native of Maryland, she brings experience gathered through college internships focusing on event operations, marketing, communications, sponsorships, hospitality, and volunteer management.

The RBC Heritage is scheduled for April 12-18, 2027. The tournament, presented by Boeing, will hold its 59th annual edition on Hilton Head Island. Cirincione’s role will be central to managing the volunteer workforce essential to the event’s smooth running.

A spokesperson from RBC Heritage encouraged those interested in volunteering for the 2027 tournament to reach out to Cirincione directly or visit the RBC Heritage Volunteer Page at www.rbcheritage.com/volunteers. The foundation relies heavily on volunteers to support tournament logistics, hospitality, and guest services throughout the week-long event.

Cirincione’s appointment reflects the tournament’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its operational team ahead of the 2027 edition. Her background in sports management and marketing aligns with the multifaceted demands of managing one of the PGA Tour’s established events.

The RBC Heritage has a history of engaging local communities through volunteer programs, which contribute significantly to the tournament atmosphere and execution. Cirincione’s oversight will likely shape the volunteer experience and coordination throughout the year leading up to the tournament.

The Heritage Classic Foundation oversees the event’s planning and execution. Cirincione will work within this framework to ensure volunteer recruitment, training, and deployment meet the tournament's standards.

The announcement came via a spokesperson from RBC Heritage, who confirmed her responsibilities and encouraged potential volunteers to make contact as early as possible. The foundation continues to build its team to prepare for the 2027 tournament, with Cirincione’s role integral to these efforts.
