The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Blue Cross NC 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been rescheduled for October 11 after rain forced the cancellation of all on-track action on October 10. The track announced the postponement, shifting the 200-lap, 300-mile race to 8 p.m. Eastern (7 p.m. Central), immediately following the NASCAR Cup Series event.
Heavy rain washed out the entire Saturday schedule, including practice and qualifying sessions for both the Cup and O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. As a result, the starting lineup for the Blue Cross NC 300 was determined by the NASCAR rule book metric, awarding the pole position to Carson Kvapil.
The National Weather Service forecast for October 11 predicts rain chances will decrease by mid-afternoon, providing a window for both races to take place at the 1.5-mile oval in Concord, North Carolina. The race will be contested in three stages: two 45-lap segments followed by a final stage of 110 laps.
Television coverage for the Blue Cross NC 300 will be available nationally on the CW Network. Fans can also stream the race through ESPN Unlimited and NASCAR.com, with audio broadcasts accessible via SiriusXM and the Performance Racing Network (PRN), both requiring subscriptions. In certain markets, FUBO will offer streaming with a free trial option.
The rescheduling ensures the NASCAR O'Reilly Series can complete its Charlotte race despite the weather interruptions caused by the remnants of Hurricane Isaias. No further changes to the weekend schedule have been announced. The race will proceed under the revised timing on Sunday night, with Kvapil leading the field to the green flag.
