Brasileirão’s Matchweek 29 returns on Wednesday with several fixtures that carry fresh significance after the FIFA break, including a rare showdown between Grêmio and Remo at Mangueirão, a venue that hasn’t hosted their clash for 54 years.

The round opens at 7:30 p.m. in Bragança Paulista, where Red Bull Bragantino take on Mirassol. Corinthians last won away at Beira-Rio in 2016.

Meanwhile, Grêmio and Remo face off at Mangueirão, marking their first meeting at this stadium since 1972, when Grêmio won 1–0. Their current season encounter in Porto Alegre ended goalless, with Remo’s Alef Manga seeing a penalty saved by Grêmio’s goalkeeper Weverton. Across their five historical meetings in the Brasileirão, Grêmio has four wins and one draw, scoring nine goals while Remo has yet to register a goal.
