Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping tabs on Atalanta's Charles De Ketelaere, the Belgian attacker who impressed at the World Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping tabs on Atalanta's Charles De Ketelaere (25), according to information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The Belgian is not a top priority for the Parisian management, but his tactical intelligence, which is highly regarded within the club, would make him a credible alternative to Maghrenes Akliouche.
De Ketelaere has also been linked with Bayern Munich, as well as several Premier League sides, and is valued at around €50m by the Bergamo-based club. The forward has scored twice against the United States and was also the only player to score against Spain at the World Cup.
Despite long-term interest in De Ketelaere, a move for the Belgian would be doubtful for Bayern Munich. With eight attackers already on the roster for this season, the Bavarians are not in a position roster-wise or financially to make a luxury purchase — unless there is an unexpected sale on the horizon.
Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski still got together last week, despite the cancelled Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps match. Müller shared a photo with Lewandowski on Twitter, saying "Not the meeting we were hoping for but still enjoyable."
